Art is considered one of the highest forms of human expression - a fundamental human process in which every society, from the most primitive to the most sophisticated, expresses itself. As an artist within this expression, I have labored. Drawing and painting are complex processes, and I enjoy indulging in their formal and material complexities. I bring together diverse elements of my experiences to make new and meaningful wholes. In the process of selecting, interpreting and reforming these elements, I hope to create more than a picture. I want to give you a part of myself - how I think, how I feel, how I see. My practice can be simply stated: I love to loiter in the process of seeing, which gives me a complete sense of self and well-being.
